YKI Master Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to YKI Master, the language practice app provided by Aturo. By using YKI Master, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What YKI Master provides

YKI Master offers practice exercises, sample tasks, study information, and progress tools to help you prepare for the National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI) test. Practice tasks and mock exams are for study only. They are not official YKI test materials, and results in the app are not official scores or certificates.

YKI Master is an independent preparation tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Finnish National Agency for Education or official YKI test organisers. Check the official YKI website for current test dates, registration, fees, requirements, and results.

2. Your account

You may need an account to use YKI Master. Provide accurate information where requested, keep access to your sign-in method secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity through your account. You can request account deletion using the option in the app.

3. Acceptable use

Use YKI Master for your own learning. Do not interfere with the app, attempt unauthorised access, misuse its services, or copy and redistribute its content except as permitted by law or with our written permission. You retain your rights in content you submit, such as practice responses and recordings.

4. Practice content and results

We aim to keep exercises and study information useful and accurate, but content, feedback, test dates, and features may contain errors or change. YKI Master does not guarantee a particular test result, language level, admission decision, or eligibility for citizenship or residence. Confirm important requirements with the relevant authority.

5. Access and future paid features

Some practice content may be limited to free samples. Paid features may be introduced later. Before any purchase, the app will show the applicable price and terms. Any purchase or subscription made through an app store will also be subject to that store's payment, cancellation, and refund rules.

6. Intellectual property

YKI Master and its exercises, text, audio, design, and software belong to Aturo or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for learning while you comply with them. They do not transfer ownership of our content to you.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, pause, or discontinue features, and may restrict access where necessary to protect the service or address misuse. We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users before it takes effect. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.

8. Liability and your rights

YKI Master is provided for educational use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aturo is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate study information, interrupted access, or your test outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
